Above the EU threshold
The EU Procurement Directives require us to advertise details of requirements (Contract Notices) for contracts above specified thresholds. We must follow procedures that are set out by the Directives and UK Regulations. This legal framework helps to ensure that public procurement is carried out in a fair and open manner both within the UK and across the EU.
Where applicable, we place Contract Notices advertising the requirement in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU). The Notices describe the requirements, award criteria, and procurement timetable, for all purchases over the following current thresholds (excluding VAT):
