Vacancy: Corporate Financial Anlayst

The Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) is the economic regulator of the water and sewerage industry in England and Wales. Our role is to seek value for consumers.
You'll assist in providing corporate finance advice to senior management and the Board including advice relating to the appropriate cost of capital and financial structure for the water sector. You'll assist in reviewing company propositions for corporate restructuring and merger proposals and undertake financial modelling when we set price limits for the industry.
The successful applicant will:
- Have an understanding of financial concepts
- Have a degree or equivalent in a numerical subject
- Have a demonstrable ability to produce written briefs on technical issues accurately and concisely
- Be computer literate
- An understanding of corporate finance issues would be an advantage
