Vacancy: Asset Strategy Analyst

The water industry provides essential services to us all and handles some of the UK's biggest sustainability challenges. At Ofwat we ensure that this huge industry delivers good service and high environmental standards across England and Wales.

In this job you'll be tracking how well each water company is maintaining their asset systems fit for purpose. You'll be a key part of a team that ensures companies deliver to high standards, and takes action if problems emerge. Your natural curiosity about how water industry assets work to deliver service to customers and your natural feel for numeric analysis will come to the fore in making a real difference. Water companies await our judgements with baited breath, so you'll need an eye for detail, and the ability to explain our work.
You'll be part of our Asset Strategy Team, which analyses and influences billions of pounds of investment by water companies.

The successful applicant will:

• Be a graduate or have eq
• uivalent experience
• Have a natural feel for numeric analysis
• Have demonstrable numeric aptitude
• Ideally have some knowledge of the water industry, engineering or environmental science
• Have a desire to build your understanding and insight
