PR04 Phase 4: Implementation of price limits and evaluation of periodic review 2004 Companies had until 2 February 2005 to decide whether to accept the price limits we set on 2 December 2004 or seek referral to the Competition Commission. None of the companies asked for the Competition Commission to re-determine its price limits. In February 2005 we approved the companies' charges schemes for 2005-06, setting out how price limits translated into customers' bills. Each company published a monitoring plan in March 2005. These plans set out for customers the service that will be delivered with the new price limits. The new price limits came into effect on 1 April 2005. We evaluated the price review process and published the report by the Independent Group into the conduct of the 2004 Ofwat periodic review in August 2005. Phase four timetable
