It's easy to take your water supply for granted. Turn on the tap and out it pours, cool, clear and clean. But maintaining good quality water services at a fair price takes careful planning. That's where Ofwat, the economic regulator of water and sewerage companies, comes in. And you.
You will be working within one of two teams in our Network Regulation Division, helping us ensure that companies deliver high quality and good value service to customers both now and in the future. You'll play an important role in making sure company proposals for future investment are reasonable and allow them to continue to maintain their assets and serve their customers efficiently.
The successful applicant will: Be educated to degree level or equivalent in a numerate subjectBe confident, credible and highly motivateBe a team player, with a sense of humourGood communication skillPreferably have a background in utilities or regulation
