Dear Regulatory Director

June return 2004

In the draft 'Forward programme' published for consultation on the 31 October 2003 we indicated that we would be writing to companies to ask that they submit the June return 2004 one week earlier than usual, on 4 June 2004. We also indicated that we would be requesting the sewerage service explanatory factors to be submitted at the same time.

This information is necessary to inform our draft and final determinations of price limits.

We intend to incorporate the collection of the sewerage service explanatory factors tables 17a to g into the June return 2004 information capture system.

I am therefore seeking your co-operation in submitting the June return 2004 and the sewerage service explanatory factors on the 4 June 2004.

If you have any objections to this proposal please can you let me know by no later than 1 December 2003.
