Consultation on the approach to the cost of debt for PR19

About Consultation

Part of our Water 2020 bid to evolve with the sector and address the challenges we face we have launched our consultation on the approach to the cost of debt. The consultation sets out a range of options and our preferred approach to the way we set the cost of debt allowance for the 2019 price review. It also discusses alternative approaches for setting the cost of equity for the 2019 price review.

We are seeking the views of all interested parties on the range of options outlined in this consultation document and our preferred approach.

We will take account of views from interested parties and set out our finalised proposals as part of our price review methodology consultation, to be published in July 2017.

The closing date for this consultation is 17 October 2016. We will publish responses to this consultation on this website unless you indicate that you would like your responses to remain unpublished.
