Who else handles complaints?

Not all water and sewerage issues are dealt with by the Consumer Council for Water or Ofwat. Other regulators are responsible for regulating drinking water quality and protecting the environment, so you should contact them if your complaint concerns these matters.

The Drinking Water Inspectorate

The Drinking Water Inspectorate (DWI) is the organisation that checks that the appointed water and sewerage companies in England and Wales supply water that is safe to drink and meets quality standards.
