Advisory panel

We have set up an advisory panel of experts within the industry to help us with our work on the future of regulation. We will bring together experts in the field (regulators, academics, consultants) in an advisory panel to challenge and develop our thinking.

We plan to bring the experts together through a series of round table meetings on specific subjects, such as the form of future price controls. We will hold challenging and innovative sessions, conducted under the Chatham house rule, which means that any opinions shared in the sessions can be used but they cannot be attributed to any particular participant. We will engage with other stakeholders through out the process

For each substantial sub-project we will ask three or four relevant panel members to act as an advisory panel, for example suggesting some initial ideas, reviewing a draft report, and attending a workshop. We are also likely to commission reports from advisory panel members on particular topics, which could be published as part of our stakeholder engagement.

The advisory panel will give us access to very high quality experience, knowledge and judgement.
