We are reviewing how we can best protect consumers’ interests and empower them to make informed choices.
As part of this project, we will consider arrangements for:
- identifying areas where customers may need protection as competition is introduced
- finding the right regulatory and consumer protection mechanisms for those who cannot choose their supplier.
We plan to publish a consumer protection policy statement in April 2012.
