In 2011, Defra commissioned an independent review of Ofwat’s role, how it works with others and if its regulatory approach is delivering what the Government and customers expect (the Gray review). In our performance management project, we are addressing the review's recommendations that relate to our governance and performance management processes.
In particular, we aim to develop our annual reporting processes to deliver improved transparency for our stakeholders about how we are performing in delivering our work and using our resources.
We will consult on our proposed framework in spring 2012.
