Companies had to decide whether to accept the price limits we set in November 2009 or to seek referral to the Competition Commission. One company, Bristol Water, decided to ask us to refer their determination to the Competition Commission.
The new price limits came into effect on 1 April 2010. We approved the companies' charges schemes for 2010 – 2015, setting out how the price limits translate into customers' bills.
