Saving Water
- We enforce the companies' duty to promote the efficient use of water, and set targets for the water companies to promote water efficiency.
- We monitor the companies' progress on water efficiency using the information that they report to us every year in their June returns.
- Companies decide what they are going to do to encourage more efficient water use.
- We are supporting and sponsoring the Environment Agency's Water Efficiency Awards 2009. You can find information about the awards from the Environment Agency's website.
