SSE Water Limited of One Forbury Place, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 3JH (“the Company”), hereby gives notice, pursuant to section 8(2) of the Water Industry Act 1991 (“the Act”), that it has applied to the Water Services Regulation Authority to be appointed Sewerage Undertaker in place of Southern Water Ltd (“SW”) for an area at Chestnut Avenue, Eastleigh. Maps showing the area covered by the application may be inspected at the Company’s offices above during normal business hours. The provisions of section 7(4)(b) of the Act are applicable in that the appointment relates only to parts of the area to which SW’s appointment as sewerage undertaker relates.
