Ofwat Chief Executive, Cathryn Ross, said:

“I am delighted to announce Jenny’s and Alena’s appointments. Jenny has a wealth of skills and experience in both the public and private sectors, and her expertise in economic regulation and competition law make her a great fit for us. Alena brings a strong track record in competition and regulatory economics to complement the skills we already have.

“We have an ambitious and exciting programme of work ahead of us and I know Jenny and Alena will make a great contribution in helping to deliver our vision of trust and confidence in water and waste water services.”

Jenny will take up her new role in September and will be a member of Ofwat’s Senior Leadership Team. Alena will join Ofwat in August.
