About Consultation

Ofwat proposes varying the appointment of Independent Water Networks Limited (“IWN”) as a water and sewerage company and making a consequential variation to the appointment of Thames Water Utilities Limited (“TMS”) as a water and sewerage company.

IWN has applied for a variation to its appointment to enable it to provide the water and sewerage services for a site called Himley Village, Bicester (the Site). The Site will comprise 1,700 domestic connections and potentially several commercial non-household connections. The development is expected to be completed in 2030.

The Site is within the water supply and sewerage services area of TMS. IWN will supply the Site with water using a bulk supply, and sewerage services by way of a bulk discharge from TMS.

Any person who wishes to make representations or objections with respect to the application should do so by completing the web form or in writing (which includes by email) to the Case Management Office at Centre City Tower, 7 Hill Street, Birmingham, B5 4UA.

Representations must be received by Ofwat no later than 17.00 hours on 27 June 2018.
