As the economic regulator of water and wastewater in England and Wales, Ofwat’s role is to enable, incentivise and hold water companies to account for providing the very best for customers, society and the environment now and in the future. In Major Projects we contribute to this goal by facilitating water companies to deliver future major infrastructure in a cost effective and environmentally beneficial manner for customers.

As part of our 2024 Price Review, we are taking forwards a significant pipeline of major infrastructure projects (upwards of £300m to multi billion) – we want to spark real innovation in how these are progressed, and we are expanding our team as a result.
