Join us as an Ofwat graduate and step into a world where you are empowered and encouraged to use the tools developed in your degree to help us solve problems in the water industry from the very start. Our graduate programme will offer a truly versatile role, great insights into how a regulator works with excellent training enabling you to create a solid foundation for your professional career.
We offer rotational and static opportunities, which both provide the same learning, development and support.
In 2024 we have graduate roles in our Economics, Policy, Data, Legal, and Casework and enforcement teams.
Learning & Development
Our programme provides you with a range of learning, development and support, including monthly training sessions. You will also be enrolled in Ofwat Essentials, a learning programme delivered by dedicated in-house experts. The graduate development programme is developed and supported by senior leaders, and you will have opportunity to lead and support interesting internal and external projects. This is an opportunity to make a real difference from the outset.
As well as on the job learning you have access to specific technical training to meet your specific learning needs which can be tailored to help you fulfil your potential. You will be provided with all the tools and support to help you flourish in your profession and will be supported by central events such as conferences, and site visits to water companies’ operational sites, so that you can develop your understanding of the water industry. You will be working with other graduates and colleagues and working with early career professionals across the regulatory industry to support your development and enhance the skills you have developed during your studies.
