In-period determinations for 2021-22

On 15 November 2022, we published our in-period outcome delivery incentives final determinations for 2021-22, including a sector-wide report, confirming the payments due to companies or customers as a result of water company performance against their 2021-22 performance commitments.

There are 11 companies with net under performance payments and between them they companies will return, £132m to customers. The payments will affect the amount of revenue companies can recover from customers through 2023-24 bills. We have not included Wessex Water in this value because, although it shows as having net under performance, this is because it deferred out performance payments it could have received to lessen the increase in its customers’ bills.
