We expect water companies to publish a risk and compliance statement at the end of each year.
The statement is intended to allow each company to demonstrate to their customers and other stakeholders that they are meeting their legal obligations. Alternatively, if there is a risk they will fail to deliver any of their obligations, it allows each company to demonstrate what they are doing about it.

In some cases, the statement is included within other information, such as annual reports, that a company produces.
